Reflecting the glory

When I saw this sunrise from my verandah two months ago I was reminded of the Scripture in second Corinthians 3:18 "And we all with unveiled face beholding (or reflecting) the glory of the Lord are being changed into His likeness from one degree of glory to another." and also of Psalm 46:10a, "Be still and know that I am God"

In this busy frenetic world we need to learn both to be still, to quiet our hearts before the Lord and to behold, and to gaze upon His glory and beauty. Then we may reflect that glory in our lives just as the water of the harbour reflected the glory of the dawn

Dear Friend and Brother,
I can not help but picture His warm and firm embrace as He says
" Be still and know that I am God."
What does that all mean? He is always Himself , never changing, full of grace, holy, and we could go on and on.
You have always encouraged us to know Him and to have relationship with Him.
You do not know us but you will one day . Thank you for being faithful to love Jesus and for encouraging us in sharing your journey with Him on your blog.
We know His grace will continue to strengthen you as you continue on the road home. Your life has been different since your
beloved Margaret has gone home to Jesus. May His embrace always comfort you.
One day we will see you and together will delight in our precious Savior's presence.
With love,
Ron & Yolanda Montgomery
